About me

I'm a Media Graphic Designer, Web Integrator, Computer Technician, and Art Hobbyist. Who has been to several Art schools, as well as taken a number of courses in these areas. I started out being interested in comicbook art, all the way back in my time in the public School. When all the other boys were outside playing ball or similar things boys of that age do. I mostly stayed inside and drew drawings.

Since it was a more interesting occupation in my opinion. I drew various cartoon related things such as. Batman and Superman stuff. It's not because I do not like other people's company. I'm actually quite happy with other people's company. I just like working with art even more. How good would art also be if there was no one else to enjoy and show it to?

Earlier in my life, I went to several art schools to gain more knowledge, and more skills around my work with art. One of the best schools I went to was The Animation Workshop in Viborg Denmark. I learned a lot about technique and abilities there and gained a lot more control over my own style. However, one must not forget the other schools I went to, where I also learned a lot, including about my own creativity.

You could say that in the other schools I went to, it was mostly about gaining a broad knowledge about art and its many forms. Whereas my time at The Animation Workshop, was mostly about hardening and fine-tuning my skills in the drawing part of the craft.

Film What is Art?

A question that is difficult to answer, and as always hovers out there for us who are interested. There is no one who can give a definitive answer to this. Since it is a very subjective topic. Some may think something is art, others will think the exact opposite. The truth is that art is many things. There are not really any absolute rules in art and that is what we all love about it.

But if someone absolutely want to put some words into describing this, I have made this little, short film that puts a few simplified words on the subject.

Film Not all Art needs

Is a small film I made to emphasize that not all art needs to be finished. Sometimes sketches and the like can actually say more than one finished product. As it allows the audience themselves to use their imagination.

To create meaning and coherence in the collection of lines and compositions called sketches or roughs.

Film Design starts as an idea

A little movie I made to show how a design process develops in the beginning. To hopefully become a product at some point later. It was actually a small project I did in connection with my education as a Media Graphic Designer.

I started my education as a Web Integrator some years ago. I became interested in web programming and design mostly because of the possibilities I could see in using it as a tool. With which I could share my art with a larger audience.

During the course, I started to get more interested in the design part of web work. So shortly after I was educated as a Web Integrator, I started a new education as a Media Graphic Designer. Where I gained a more in-depth knowledge about image editing and processing design work. Vector graphics work, as in icons and logo design, I found out falls naturally to me.

I am now on a much more Technical development in Computer Engineering, and the IT Support Industry.
The reason for the now more technical path I am embarking on, one might say, is because it seemed like a natural development within my career. As I aim to become a good all-round media developer who can work in a large area in our ever-growing digital development world.

Of course, it also has a lot to do with my interest and curiosity within this phase of digitization we are in.
I have always been creative and curious, and not just in a limited area. Areas like: Music, movies, forging, and text wrapping have also piqued my creativity. Some areas, however, are more successful than others. In general, areas where you create something with mind and craftsmanship have the potential to awaken my creativity.

Underneath here it is possible to hear a bit of my experiments with music if someone, is interested in Electronic sampling music.

Creativity has also stretched into something more programming based. Especially in the form of some video games of smaller sizes. I use a program called Unity, which is one of the recognized pieces of software for that kind of work. The code language called C-sharp(c#) and javascript are often used.

I myself have mostly only used c# for these projects. The very concept of mixing graphics and programming together in association with each other, in the shape of objects seems extremely appealing to me.

The perfect way to mix creativity and functionality together. So it's no wonder I've done some different smaller projects in this context since I learned about Unity, and it's also given me some experience in working with 3D graphics.

My games Gameplay Videos

3D EggGame

This is my first finished game I made in Unity. It is an Indie game where you are a little Easter egg that rolls fast forward in the universe, and must avoid obstacles along the way. So that it doesn't break. Quick reflexes are needed in this game. Audio files and graphics are made by me.

2D MazeShooter

This game is my second created game. Here I went for a more standard 2D top-Down shooter style. Almost all graphics and audio are made by me, but some of the elements this time is retrieved from a database.

3D FPSZombieShooter

This is my third, and at this time the biggest game I have made. It's a full 3D FPS game, which I spent a good amount of time on. Most graphics are made by me, and most audio is also my creation. However, some elements has also been used from a database to cut some time from the process.

There is also no reason to completely reinvent the deep dish, as they say. This is also the first time I tried working more seriously with 3D graphics. Especially in the form of the Zombies, where i used some software called "Blender".
